You Son of a Beach!

I cannot believe it is almost June! It seems like just yesterday I was covered head to toe in jeans, thick jacket, scarf and Ugg boots in Seattle.

Now the sun has come out to play and I’ve swapped my Seattle spring clothes for Mykonos mayhem flip flops, shorts, tank tops and..well, let’s face it, it is only April so I still wear my Uggs.

All around me the harsh sounds of Greek language are rapidly turning to soft laughter and English! The Americans and Australians are quickly making their way down to Greece to enjoy the beginnings of the tourist season!

Half of me is excited to get the ball rolling here on the island, but the other is just wishing I could spend my days in peace, enjoying my surrounings. I know that once work starts, the everyday luxuries (watching late night movies, NOT being tired at noon, making/going out to dinner, going to bed at a normal time) will all disappear and my day time will not exist!! But hey, this is my third summer and if I did nit love it more than I hated it, I would not be here!
